Today we will be looking at a couple of the best travel monitors from Lepow company. I am writing this blog to talk about these amazing products and also to show how useful they were to my wife and me during our recent trip abroad.
The Trip
Like most trips and stories, for that matter, it starts with a plane ride. A very long plane ride. Fortunately, I knew it was going to be a long trip across the big blue waves of the Atlantic.
I had planned ahead. I downloaded my favorite series from my streaming service, along with a couple of movies.
Of course, the problem was I had downloaded them onto my smartphone. Don’t get me wrong, I love my smartphone, but the screen on it is not big enough to enjoy hours of series or movies without hurting my eyes. It was clear that I needed something bigger to watch them on.
Easy To Connect
You see, I had just purchased the portable monitors a couple of days before the big trip. This means I had not had the chance to try mine out before that moment. Boy, was I in for a pleasant surprise!
Not only was it really easy to connect my portable monitor to my phone using only a USB-C cable, but the display, when I turned it on, made my jaw drop. Literally!
Looks Great
It was so full of color and detail! It almost felt like I was looking through a window. When I purchased it, it did say it featured full-HD 1080p resolution, but I didn’t realize it would look this good! The gamer in me wanted to take it for a test run right away, but it would have to wait. Oh well!
On a side note, I did get to try it with my gaming consoles. I used it with my PS4 and my Xbox. In both cases, it was just as easy to connect as it was with my phone.
Built-in Speakers for The Win
Getting back to the trip, something amazing happened. I had forgotten my headphones at home. I thought that if we listened with a lower volume, we wouldn’t disturb the other passengers. It turns out that the two built-in speakers of the portable monitor had a very good sound!
The other passengers, instead of complaining, leaned in and watched with us! My Lepow portable monitor made them happy too!
Protection, Function, And Style
Once we were nearing our destination, I decided it was time to put the portable monitor away.
I turned it off and used its smart case to cover it. I really enjoyed this because the smart cover not only served as a stand but also felt great to the touch. This is because it’s made with high-quality PU leather and has a soft lining interior.
Lightweight
With its light weight of only 1.76 pounds and a 0.3-inch profile, I gingerly picked it up and slid it into my bag. I don’t think I’m even going to notice it when I carry my bag out!
Something Everyone Can Enjoy
It was at this point that I noticed that some of the passengers that had sat around us wanted to talk to me.
Not only did they think that my portable monitor was awesome, but they were also thankful. They said I had saved them from a long flight full of boredom! I was really shocked.
