My Town Tutors has been using twitter to connect with parents, teachers, and educators for the last two years. Along the way, we have made some mistakes, but also have learned some valuable lessons. Hopefully our experiences might be useful to others.
When we first started, we followed everyone. We have had a paradigm shift over the course of the past few weeks with the creation of @mytowntutorsNW.
As a new account, we wanted to celebrate our first followers and let them know we appreciate them greatly!
As we acquire more followers, we will thank them too!
I am sure we are not alone in our thought process, but we are trying to document and evaluate our approach to creating an awesome twitter account for parents and teachers. We would love some sincere feedback.
We mean no harm in our choices over the next 56 weeks as we pick our 1st 52 twitter accounts to follow. We know so many great twitter accounts that is going to be so difficult to pick the 1st account to follow.
We are currently researching 8 – 13.5 hours a day idnetifying which account will be met our extensive criteria. (We will share our criteria once we have followed each account.)
