My Town Tutors started in the South Shore of Massachusetts. Our goal is to help parents to connect with local teachers who tutor.
As part of our goal of being a great resource for the South Shore, we are compiling a list of great family activities. Below are some family friendly activities. Click on the text to read a full blog of the activity.

  1. December 1, 2013 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: 61st Annual City of Quincy Christmas Parade. The parade route begins at the intersection of Hancock Street and Walter J. Hannon Parkway, continuing up Hancock Street to North Quincy. The rain date is schedule for Sunday, December 8. 2013.
  2. December 1, 2013 Duxbury, MA 12:00 – 4:00 p.m: 9th Annual Holly Days.
  3. December 1, 2013 Marshfield, MA 2:00 – 5:00 p.m: Annual HolidayFest.
  4. December 5, 2013 Boston, MA 6:00 – 8:00: 72nd Annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree on the Boston Common.
  5. December 7th and 8th, 2013 Kingrson, MA 9:00 am – 3:30 pm: Bog Hollow Farm annual Christmas Tree Farm weekend. Free admission! Free hayrides! Choose and cut your own trees. Tree prices: fresh cut trees average $50 per tree. Choose and cut trees (still growing) are $10 per foot – $50 minimum.

My Town Tutors is a website that connects South Shore parents with teachers who tutor. Teachers set the hourly and keep 100% of the fees! One of our teachers made $5,000 last year tutoring.

It is FREE for parents to search for a teacher in their area.
