There is a great event sponsored by the South Shore Habit for Humanity. Below is the information that is taken directly from their website.
The 7th Annual Ride for Habitat will be held this year on June 8th, 2013. The bike ride consists of two routes: a 50 mile loop for the more adventurous, and a 25 mile for the beginners. The route is beautiful taking you along the scenic South Shore giving you breath taking views of the ocean. We encourage you to come out and help support our local community.

Registration is $25. There is a $100 fundraising requirement. Don’t let this scare you away! Here is an easy way to raise $100.
Ask 10 friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers for $10
Ask your company to sponsor you or match an individual gift
Ask your friend, family, neighbors or co-workers to sponsor you $2/mile for the 50, or $4/mile for the 25
