My Town Tutors is the nation’s 1st National Directory of teachers who tutor. Our goal in 2014 is to expand our network of local teachers who tutor to 1,000 teachers! In 2013 we had over 150,000 visitors to our site from all 50 states.
It is FREE for parents to search for a teacher in their area. Please help us find ONE MORE teacher who tutors!

Over the next 56 weeks, @mytowntutorsNY will attempt to reach 5,000 followers in 52 weeks. As of February 27, 2014, @mytowntutorsNY had just 34 followers. We are just getting the account organized and will share some ideas on how to attract quality followers.

@mytowntutorsNY is in the process of establishing it’s social media presences with a makeover. The month of March is committed to completing some basic tasks that will put us in a position to be an awesome account for New York parents and teachers. We created out paper on Monday March 3rd, 2014.
Publishing a paper is very simple process that only takes a few minutes to set up and can result in many RTs with no effort. Below are the simple steps needed to set up a daily paper at http://paper.li/.
Step #1: Click “Sign up / Log in” button at the top right of the page.
Step #2: Email verification: Enter your email address.
Step #3: Check your email and click in the link to confirm the account.
Step #4: Fill in the information in the “Account Settings.” This information includes
a. Picture – “Show your best side. (Image, max 700k. JPG, GIF, PNG)
b. Name – “Enter your real name so people you know can recognize you.”
c. Profile – “Tell your readers about yourself in 300 characters or less.”
