How long have you been a teachers?
I just retired after 40 years of teaching in both public and private schools.I have taught all levels of Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trig, MCAS review and SAT classes.
How long have you been tutoring?
I have been tutoring for the past 25 years.

Describe your educational philosophy:
I can use all my experiences from in the classroom and coaching to get students to understand the concepts that they are having problems with. Being one on one gives me the ability to get the students to another level. I love when they call me so excited about how many points that they went up on the SAT.
Do you have any advice for teachers who might be thinking of joining My Town Tutors?
I think that the set up of My Town Tutors is unique. For a company to praise the need of veteran teachers is something special. Working with a boss who is currently teaches himself is a huge plus.You do not get this in other agency’s that I have worked for.
How has the income you have made tutoring improved the quality of your life?
The income that I have received from tutoring has been a blessing. Instead of getting a job in a different field I can still do the thing that I love. I can now join a golf course with tennis. Without the extra income that would never of happened.
