@MyTownTutorsNW started as possibly the worst twitter account in the world. Over the past two months they have worked really hard to become a legitimate twitter account for teachers and parents.
We consider ourselves a twitter ZERO, because we do not follow any accounts. This has been very hard to do, however we have committed to following 2 accounts per week for the next year. We will follow our first account on August 1, 2013. On that day, we will no longer be a twitter “ZERO.”
@MyTownTutorsNW has come a long way since the 1st day:
1st Day: June 4, 2013 – 0 tweets, 0 following, 0 followers
July 29, 2013 – 1,004 tweets, 0 following, 63 followers.
@MyTownTutorsNW is very excited to have connected with 63 great accounts without following any, now it is our turn to return the favor. We have one last item on our
To Do List:
- Follow Someone – Over the next 52 weeks, we will be following 104 accounts. The accounts will be in two categories education and parenting. We have done some extensive research and believe our lists will be impressive. We even created a 1st 52 page to share our choices.
Tasks completed:
No profile description– They did create a profile, but it seems a little weird. 3 Twitter Tips to Double Your Tweetgrade Score, but boy the profile is still bad.No followers– They have an impressive following of 3. Add an image– They still have not updated this. LAZY. Tweet– Still not a word but many are scheduled. Can’t wait to see the final product!Add a few #FFs– This is a real simple way to acknowledge and promote favorite twitter accounts.
