The Triple Threat All-Scholastic clinic is an intense basketball skills development program for players in Rockland, Hanover, and Marshfield. The goal is to create a competitive environment where players will receive quality instruction from experienced high school coaches. The focus is on preparing players to succeed at the high school level. All three programs that participated last year, Hanover, Rockland and the South Shore Vo-tech qualified for the MIAA state tournament.
Co-Directors Fred Damon and Mark Molloy have worked hard developing the philosophy and curriculum for the program. The 2012 summer program was incredible. The campers included Gatorade Player of the Year Tyler Gibson (Rockland), All-League Bryan Tavarez (Rockland), and All-League and All-Scholastic Sean McNally.
There were several underclassmen from Hanover and Rockland, including two freshmen who worked hard, improved, and contributed at the varsity level. We had are hoping for an even better turnout this year.
Triple Threat has a goal to be the #1 basketball development program on the South Shore. We would like to that My Town Tutors for allowing us to post this and future blogs.
Players should check with coaches for applications. Hanover players see Coach Hannigan, Rockland players should see Coach Damon, and South Shore Vo-tech players should see Coach Doyle.
