Writing Advice for College Students

The following is a great activity to use during Thanksgiving or the holiday season.

Can ONE LETTER Make a Difference?

(Thanksgiving) Letters of Appreciation: The Write it Forward Project

YOU ARE A VERY SPECIAL PERSON! THANK YOU!!!!

“Can writing one sincere, kind, heartfelt letter encourage FIVE (5) others to do the same?” A class from YOUR TOWN is completing the Write It Forward Project. The goal is to spread a little gratitude around your town, your state, America, and the WORLD!

You have made a difference in a person’s life and are really appreciated! Hopefully, your letter brought a smile to your face and a little enjoyment to your life. If it did, would you please WRITE IT FORWARD?

Take a few moments out of your busy day to write a letter to a person you appreciate!

Here is all you have to do to participate in our project!

  1. Write a handwritten letter to an important person in your life (it is ok to type too).

  2. INCLUDE THIS SHEET WITH YOUR LETTER! Fill in the next open line with YOUR name, YOUR location, the person to whom you are sending the letter, and the date.

  3. Insert the letter AND information sheet into an envelope and mail it or hand deliver it.
