To celebrate World Smile Day on October 2nd, our psychology class is writing our 2nd letter in our Write it Forward Project. We are looking to answer the following question: “Can writing one sincere, kind, heartfelt letter encourage FIVE (5) others to do the same?” Each student selected a person who makes them smile and wrote them a letter of appreciation. The goal of the letter is to bring a smile to a person on World Smile Day. Hopefully this letter will bring some smiles to people in Hanover, Massachusetts, America, and the entire WORLD!
You have made a difference in a person’s life and are really appreciated! Hopefully, your letter brought a smile to your face and a little enjoyment to your life. If it did, would you please WRITE IT FORWARD?
Take a few moments out of your busy day to write a letter to a person you appreciate!
Here is all you have to do to participate in our project!
- Write a handwritten letter to an important person in your life (it is ok to type too).
- INCLUDE THIS SHEET WITH YOUR LETTER! Fill in the next open line with YOUR name, YOUR location, the person to whom you are sending the letter, and the date.
- Insert the letter AND information sheet into an envelope and mail it or hand deliver it.
