Dear Teacher,

Today I received a fabulous letter from my Granddaughter with your form letter attached and I must say I think this is a wonderful constructive idea. I also agree the young people of today are beginning to lose the contact and personal communication that we grew up with. When this concern is brought to their attention, that is the best we can do and hopefully will give them a little spark for the future.

Thank you again and keep up the good work.

Regards,

Hi,

Kudos to you and your class for bringing this project to life! As a parent and an employee of the district, it is encouraging to see students engage in these types of projects. As many have probably not penned a handwritten letter since their 6th grade “Letter To Me”, it is great to see this valuable lost art resurrected.

On a personal note, I was so touched to receive my letter in the mail from (student). Someone I have known for almost her entire life, it has been a gift to watch her blossom into the confident, spirited, amazing young woman you have in class each day.

Know that you and your students will bring MANY smiles to the faces of MANY people this holiday season.  Please give my best to your students and I wish you all happy holidays and a bright new year!

Two requests ~ One, can you please email me a “Write It Forward” sheet. Two, can you please share the impact of your letters. If you have a culminating event for the the project in your class I would love to be there.

Thanks for making a difference!

I received my letter from WinterGarden, FL and live in Ashburn, VA. I just sent my letter out to a person I deeply appreciate. It was very nice to receive a letter from someone I haven’t talked to in a while and to have them say nice things about the person I am was just icing on the cake. Keep up the good work and keep paying it forward.

Hello,

I was so delighted to receive my letter. It was very heartfelt and moving for me..

What a great idea and a great time of year for people to show their appreciation towards others especially the younger generation. I hope they learn how it can make them feel just as good as the person who is receiving the letter.

I hope more schools in the area will take this project on.

Happy Holidays and a Healthy, Happy New Year!!
